this is the view of the canyon we get when going to the parking lot, isn't it pretty? yes it is. this house is gigantic, and we stare at it sometimes. this is a picture of today, nice and snowy already. it's only october 6th and already it's time to break out the winter coats and hot cocoa. but the mountains do look great.
we went jeeping up beautiful logan canyon. it was great fun involving bouncing up and down wildly and laughing hysterically. the trees were gorgeous, the pictures don't do them justice.
here we are at family home evening carving pumpkins. the one on the left is gonzo, and the one on the right is ernie. it was great fun poking around in the pumpkin guts and then burning our tongues on hot cocoa.
so, we've had quite a few interesting experiences at wal mart. one included some creepy guy sitting on cinder blocks and randomly told us that we dropped something so of course we looked, then he said just kidding and laughed. anyways, we love the super great rides they have, they are thrilling!!! (especially when old men watch and laugh).

As i'm sure you've all heard, we haven't exactly been winning our games yet, but it's still fun standing in the pouring rain losing our voices cheering on our losing team. we went to the after game party in which we listened to various bands, and got these free shirts. you can't really see what they say, but they are quite hilarious, the tan ones say "nothing says goodbye like a javelin to the heart" with a picture of a man with a javelin through him. great t-shirts eh?
Here you see the fireworks after the homecoming football game, it was supposed to be a victory celebration, but they were still pretty.
aren't these awesome!!!! too bad we had a lame high school. these are street paintings done by various groups at the school, these are big, so sorry about the bad angle. these are located on the main street running through campus, wahoo, go aggies!!!!!
so for homecoming week the school had a paint dance, which was really a paint fight to music and random people sloshing paint over the crowd. Or, if you're like Rachel, you let them put neon orange paint in your hair that took a couple days to wash out!
this is an example of crazy college boys, they don't think, so girls end up with paint lodged in their inner ear, like this. but it was still worth it.
